Is this a rare Endura??

I bought this endura from sportsman's warehouse in 98 and it has been used and abused since than. I am about to send it back to spyderco for a nice new edge on it. I have heard talk of the early black enduras& delicas being pretty rare, is this one?? Its G-2 steel.

i actually have one of those on my way from norway as we speak. from what i have heard/read the fisrt edition delica and enduras with the black coating are pretty rare because they wore off to quickly so spyderco quit making them with it. i think a run of only 500 were made.
