Boye dent question?

I have a stainless police model serrated edge (pre Boye dent). If I send it in for sharpening can they put the Boye indentation in it for me? Will there be a minimal cost? Also if I join the collectors club can I have knives previously purchased engraved with collector #? Can I have my others done also ? Native, Enduras, etc. This is a really cool forum, I just hope my girlfriend doesn't find out!!!

Not sure about the Boye detent, however I can help with the collector's club. When you take a number you have to buy any knives with that number which have been issued since it was relinquished by the previous member. This can be quite expensive if the number has been hanging around for a while. I don't think you could have your own knives engraved as somebody might already have knives with that number. BTW there are only 200 numbers available. I hope that all makes sense.
