Talking about the 204 of course I tried it on a cheaper knife first just so I could get the hang of it...this thing is maraculously easy to use and gets the knives sharp!!! Nice video and book also....I liked the beginning of the video when Sal was cutting up that sheet of paper into a ton of pieces.....I saw Sal in the video...time to meet him in person

It is gonna be hard for me to meet him in person, when I have the ability to travel on my own, after high school I am not going straight into college,I am gonna take a year off. I'll be seeing you after my senior year Sal....

A cool trick that works great on plain edge knives: after you're done sharpening the knife on the 204, polish it by using a medium or fine kitchen steel. Works on all kinds of steel, including hard stuff like ATS-55, BG 42 and S60V. You'll be surprised at how much of a difference it makes.

Thanx Kurtis. Look forward to it.

Hey Haji. The Razor Edge steels are hard and smooth and also do a nice job. It's fun to cut out a circle in a piece of paper. Takes a purty sharp edge.
