First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who responded to the questions on the thread concerning the training/background of MBC forumites. I really appreciate your input and will use it to help ensure that Spyderco and I focus our advertising efforts in the right places to keep you informed and to structure MBC classes and pricing to best meet your needs.

And now, the moment you've been waiting for (insert drum roll here)...

The winner of the "Fighting Folders" and "Advanced Fighting Folders" video set is KenN of Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX. Congratulations, Ken!

Because you guys did such a good job of responding, I decided to throw in a second prize -- an autographed copy of "Knife Fighting: A Practical Course." The winner of this prize is Carson, from Upstate New York.

Congratulations to Carson as well!

Ken and Carson, please e-mail me at modtempest@aol.com with your full names and street mailing addresses so I can send your prizes off promptly.

Again, thanks to everyone for participating. With your input and our continued efforts on this end, I hope to make us all winners when it comes to quality edged-weapon instruction.

Stay safe,

mike j

Mike, Thanks for the opportunity to 'show and tell' so to speak and really see the variety of different backgrounds that flow through here. Also, I believe this is the first online contest I've ever won, so thanks again. I'll look forward to checking out your videos. email is on the way.

It looks like at least one of you had your heart set on this bundle, sorry. If it's just burning you up inside, email me maybe we could work something out.

and congratulations to you Carson.
