Wow - that is interesting!

Though I hope this lock never makes it to the Mili. I am a fan of the liner style lock and Spyderco and the Mili is one of the very few ways I can indulge on both at the same time.

Think there was a thread asking that same question a while back, think Sal may have even chimed in with a comment. IIRC, it was one of his better renditions of the weasel dance. ;) :D

Looks to me like Sal just used the Military for illustration purposes. I wouldn't take this as a sign that there will be a new version of the Military with this lock. It may have just been what Sal had in is pocket when the idea for this lock came to him and he started sketching out his ideas.

Of course this is all speculation and I could be wrong on all counts. :p

BTW Deacon, we have three pet ferrets and I think I know exactly what you mean by "weasel dance" and that sentence cracked me up. :D

just a news flash the millie has been the flagship/test bed of many locks,steels and handle scales to the point of more then a hand full of different G10

its a great knife and a spyderco pet that is always on the upgrade

IIRC Sal has said before that the Military 2 would feature the "stop lock".
Question now is, is that the stop lock?
