My boyfriend really likes Spyderco's, but I know nothing about them. He has one already, but Im not sure which other one he might like. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi Sande,

Welcome to the Forum.

Hmm, this is a little tough to answer without knowing what your boyfriend currently has. I would suggest purchasing a Tri-Angle Sharpmaker (knife sharpener) for him. It's a perfect compliment to anyone who owns a Spyderco. This way, you don't run the risk of purchasing something he already has, or something he may not like. If you wanted to see what it looks like, click on the Products link above, then click on sharpeners.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sande...
Don't you hate it when someone answers your question with a question? Butt it is pretty much necessary. Can't recommend a tool unless you know the task and the person to use it.

What Spydie does he have now? Does he use it at work or play? Is he an outdoor type, hunting or fishing, rafting or boating, hiking or climbing? Does he like to cook or garden or yardwork? Is he into martial arts or self defense oriented or in law enforcement or emergency or military duty? Does he have other knives? A collection?

We are not trying to dodge an answer, just trying to give a good one.
