More Schempps, Please!

On KaliGMan's advice, I recently obtained the Kris, which now resides with a small and a large Persian. These are incredibly beautiful knives. I think they are by far Spyderco's most beautiful. Micarta, bolsters, dramatic lines, design flair, and very useable to boot. I'd definitely like to buy more Schempp designs in the future.

I am glad you liked the Spyderco Kris. It is one of my favorites, and, as you are a self confessed bolster fan, you should continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Mr. Schempp designs some very fine knives. In regards to "ethnic" blades, three of my all time favorites are the kris, kukri, and barong. It turns out that Ed has an affinity for these three blades as well. He has already made a fine kris. I would not be surprised to see folders based on the kukri and barong in development:cool:.

We will just have to see what actually gets made.
