I think you will find Mr Blonde's pics hard to beat. I know they certainly have turned me into a multi-coloured Delica fan :D
Once again Wouter, awesome pics. Great camera angle and composition :)

Yesssss..... :)
That is the ultimate Delica to get. Very nice job polishing up the bolster Felly. It turned out very nice indeed. Shows up a hell of a lot more detail. Not sure if it will tarnish up more in time.

Yes, most likely.
Depending on the light and the colour of the surroundings it may appear green or grey and even blueish.

The truth be told, I was really nervous as I cleaned them, but as you can see, it really paid off!
Ed Schempp told me to be extremely careful with the copper on these bolsters as it is a micro-thin layer, prone to being rubbed off by scrubbing too hard. I used a Q-tip and dunked it in the copper brite and let the weight of the Q-tip and the solution do the work. I did not apply hardly any pressure, but I repeated the step three times to make sure I got all the tarnish off.
I'm very pleased with the results! ;)
If they end up tarnishing more in the future, I know how to bring back that copper shine again without damaging them. :)

:p Aren't you the guy that was grumbling about doing other people's searchs for them. ;)
I did a thread on it some time ago. It was done by Yellowhorse. There is a father and son team. Sometimes I get them mixed up but I believe this was done by David Yellowhorse. He usually does a small series and sells most of them on ebay.
I'm at work so I have forgetten any other useful details. :p

Here's a comparison, in very similar lighting conditions:

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/fellyjr/IMG_5052.jpg
Pretty darn close!
Maybe the new one's are slightly more intense, but not by much.

I think the new ones seem to have more 'red' in them.... so more hue to it. Older ones seem slightly (only just slightly) more muted.
I gotta get me a few more D4 PPNs :)
Cheers

Yup, VG-10. It's the first knife I ever ordered from NGK, many many moons ago.
