hey Sharp1 i'm not an forum moderator but i think i might be one of the "folks will post that have huge number of posts under their belts, yet have not posted for months." i will only read if there is nothing i think that i can contrubute to, i might get busy for a week or two or three and then come back. i'm in graduate school so my deadlines are sort of a "feast or famine" so my postings refect that. i know my brother, also in graduate school, has the same posting habits on some forums, he also reads this forum but posts very infequently. i kind of like getting away and when i come back there is a lot of new stuff on the board, i find it fun to find a old question and b.b.t. and let all the new people now on the forum to put in thier "2 cents". when i first got here, this past summer, there was a lot of other people with a ton of posts that i have not seen in a while.

hope this helps.

Hi Sharp. Good question, I have no idea. We've not set up the forum to be able to tell that, at this time. perhaps in the future.

I know we have a fair amount of lurkers becuase They make commens about the forum and it will often surprize me. For example, I found out that certain of our overseas distributors lurk regularly. I always invite them to post, eh Michael?, but they don't.

The "purpose" of the forum is to share information and visit with like minded folks from around the world. I guess there is no real requirement to post.
