Yep, my shipment was delayed and will be another week, so it'll be like 20 days wait since I sent out the money order!

But I've got a few questions... most of which I forget :S

First... would the calypso jr. style blade (serrated) work for cutting stuff like steak? I was thinking more of a drop point would be better

Also, I checked out those video clips of the emerson knives opening. That's crazy fast! I swear it lookis like there's a fixed blade in his pocket!

Can opening be that fast with a spyderco? Tip-up or down?

Thanx!

If your steak is too much for a calypso jr. (either spyder or plain edge)....

....don't eat it....

;~))

I agree. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Steaks where I come from can usually be handled by my serrated Delica with ease.

Minimarc123, you must be facing some serious cow to be concerned! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

i try to grill the steak so that a butter knife would cut it. my goal, however, would be with the egde of a fork.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

where did you see that video i saw the knife oneline and thought that opening could be dangerous.

lol, guys... you show a lot of confidence in your spydies.

ftkinney, I saw the video clips at www.emersonknives.com in the video clips section.

Oh yah... I was kinda thinking of raw steaks... cause I just eat my cooked steak with my hands and teeth... although that didn't go over too well at the last wedding I attended :S
