About the prototypes

Sal, I got some questions about the prototypes:



1. Are those knives handmade? (especially those custom collaborations)

2. Compared with production knives, is there some quality difference on blades except modifications on design?

3. Where will they go after evaluation? Will that be possible that I can find some on somewhere like ebay?

Hi Golem.

1. yes, usually hand made.

2. There are usually some changes in the production piece. The hand made pieces are usually not as good as the production iece will be. The production pieces are more prone to higher accuracy because of the CNC equipment, which is not usually used in early prototypes.

3. Usually they are saved for the museum. Sometimes when we make more than one, we might run a contest on the forums.
