I see a definite need here for a large bright orange label permanently attached to all Spydercos saying:
KEEP FINGERS OUT OF BLADE PATH!
Or perhaps just a tad more caution and attentiveness on your part when opening? closing? using? 'Cause I seriously doubt that D'Allara just jumped out of your pocket and did that on its own. ;)

In all fairness, knives had nothing to do with the bandaged hand, unless you count the surgeon that used one to remove a lumpy, fatty, tumory thingy <--medical terms<-- from my finger.
On the other hand :D those little :spyder:bites are from my brand new GAT (Glock armorers tool) Endura.
As far needing this warning-
KEEP FINGERS OUT OF BLADE PATH!I (unlike way to many other Americans) understand the wise advice from the fine gentleman from Colorado when he says "If you get a body part in the way, it could be uncomfortable."
