I need some good suggestions on how to keep my new stainless native looking its best.I was so impressed with my first one I went and got the stainless model yesterday.Needless to say I'm incredibly happy with my new addition.I have it sheathed, but i noticed little hairline scrathes already. What's the best thing to use to keep it shining and neat?

I use a wadding polish that comes in a 5 oz. can. 'The original NEVR-DULL Wadding Polish" by Eagle One. You can find it in most discount Auto Parts Stores. The description on the can states: Cleans and polishes all metals including silver, gold, brass, copper pewter, glass, steel, aluminum, and chrominum. Removes rust and corrosion instantly. This stuff works great on my knives, mag wheels and aluminum bike parts.

A suggestion: Try to get some different grades of Scotch-Brite pads. The green; as sold in markets and dept. stores is too coarse. However the brown pads are close to the grit needed to match the brushed ss finish. They are sold by Brownells (gunsmith supply house) as "blending/polishing pads".
I would experiment on a carry piece before using them on a collectable.
Thanks, Greg

Try this on a carry piece first, but, it may be the cheapest solution... 0000 Grade Steel wool, available at any hardware store. It works for me.
