When I was a kid, there was a TV series about Thiery ''the slinger''.
The stories were a bit Robin Hood like and Thiery and his band allways won because they were smarter and braver and because of his accurate sling.
Most boys of my age loved it and carried some sort of sling for some time, and so did I.
Can't recall any broken windows but there must have been some.

Sling as in David and Goliath? Or sling as in that Y-shaped thing with a strong rubber band, lol...

Call me stupid, but I can't tell, lol....I would think it is a sling, but the picture looks like a sling-shot, so I don't know, haha!

I'ved used slingshots before, but I've never really thought of a ~sling~ before. I imagine it's quite hard to master. The projectile would probably go in the opposite direction that I am aiming, loL! :D

Hey Lostification, I believe they're speaking of the the David and Goliath type sling ;) .

My grandfather made one for me when I was a kid, out of an old leather belt I had. He lived near a creek, and we'd collect small round stones for the ammo. Practiced with him all that summer....They Are Fun and real accurate when slinging at windows :rolleyes: :o . Yep got myself in a ton of trouble using that sling.
