I just picked up an FRN Plain edge Calypso Jr. a few days ago for the unreal price of $44 including shipping. I just want to tell everyone how sweet this is, and how well it fits the hand, and how much VG-10 rocks other steels. Anyhow, my compliments to Sal, and as a side note, how cheap have you guys gotten ur Calypsos? I'm very proud of buying it for around half MSRP. I'll try not to twist anything patting myself on the back.
Hi Interfectus, good deal.
I've reciently re-discovered the Calypso Jnr myself. I had got it for an office knife because it was small and the black clip blended well with my black trousers (not too noticable by sheeple), but for some reason it didn't feal quite right clipped to light weight trousers. Along came the Standard and the Calypso Jnr was retired. Because I had got the Calypso for office wear and I had others I favoured more for casual wear, it fell into disuse
But then the other day I couldn't decide which knife to wear so I dug out the Calypso, gave it a quick sharpen and thought "Damn, this is a GOOD knife". It has now re-entered the rotation cycle as "That knife I carry when I don't feal like carrying anything special, but could do with a decient pocket razor".

Best not to keep shopping once you buy something. Everytime I pop for an item, the dang thing goes on sale in the Sunday paper.
The Calypso Jr is to be discontinued and is one of the best buys going right now. I love the design and own 2 PE in micarta and just got another serrated LW to replace the one I can't find. A classic design.
