Yesterday I found an all Black Delica 4(C11PSBBKCP)!!!

It is great! Very light, very smooth and VERY sharp! I couldn't be happier.

P.S.

Sorry, no pics as my camera has suffered the horrible fate of falling into the hands of my 2 year old.

She has me wrapped around her finger. I can never stay mad at her. Besides, she is still just a baby(2 1/2yo) and is just curious about stuff, like does a digital camera float in the toilet?

I found a few of them the last time I was on a military post and havent been able to spot them anywhere else. Not even on Ebay! So are they just an exclusive for soldiers kind of like the Operation Iraqi Freedom Native?

It floats for about 1-2 seconds, then drops..... depending on model of camera :) If you are fast enough you can grab it before it sinks.

Assuming the toilet was, you know, relatively clean, it's possible after the camera dries, it may function again. I've seen some really cool photos out of a digital camera that was dropped in water. Ex post facto, it produced these very colorful, surrealistic photographs.

Your daughter may have turned you into an accidental artist. ;-)

As saddening as the thought of a ruined camera is.... that made me lol.

Kids can be called many things like expensive, tiring, aggravating, and most fittingly AWESOME!
At least you have a cool new Delica to open the new camera box with.

Cool link Will. I think I would have a heart attack if my Nikon D70 ended up in a pond, but it's cool that this guy was able to make great photo's out of such a messed-up situation.

Others will know more about this than I will, but I did a little research on the model number, and it seems this was maybe a second or third generation model.

Rest assured Clovisc. I have seen the little black wonder. An all, completely black Delica 4!!!... With that said, I have searched everywhere for even the slightest bit of info on them...and found nothing. They were on a military post. I'm heading back tommorrow to hopefully nab them up. So I've been wondering if they were some kind of secret creation meant only for U.S. troops' eyes. Can anybody find any kind of info on these?
