Every time I use my Military, I am always struck by how well designed the liner lock is. It appears to compensate well for wear, with a solid lockup and a reassuring click when it locks. The liner is grippy and easy to disengage and the scale cutout feels as if it were sized perfectly. I never liked liner locks and barely liked framelocks but the Military is quickly changing that, despite that I nearly didn't buy the Military because of the liner lock. I think Spyderco should really leverage their excellent liner lock "technology" to make more liner lock models.
So, as cool as the Stop Lock is, I really hope it doesn't replace the liner lock in the Military. Maybe there is room in the lineup for a liner-lock Millie and a stop-lock Millie. I certainly hope so.
