The UPS truck might be my favorite truck in the whole world. It has brought me so much stuff. But I hate it when they are late(drives me crazy waiting).

I like UPS and also FedEx trucks. I can hear them coming a mile away........
Really is a bummer when they come late, though.

Its a love/hate relationship for me and those two Santa substitutes. Mine is the first house on the right after a long stretch of creek from the coast highway. I can see them from the desk here, and they always slow down to check the address on my mailbox. Happiness is when they back down the drive, Despair when they speed on their way to some lucky upcreek neighbor.
This is catalog country with no department store within daily reach and this time of year its at least once a day for the "Brown Bomber" and every other day for the "Great White Hope"

Here comes UPS now .....aaawwwwWWWWWWW....SSSSsshhh****tttt

ROFLMAO!

Chinook, I like your sense of humor! Yes, I've stalked a brown truck or two. I've even gone after the elusive white truck with the orange & purple writing on it! Every once in awhile, the friendly Postman/woman pays me a visit with a little brown box, too. In all, it's like Christmas, all over again. Life is good. With a new Spydie in my pocket, Life is GRAND!

Definately a love / hate relationship with me.
With no store that sells Spydies for 400 miles I rely on these wheeled goody vans.
But can you imagine my disapointment whenever a parcle is due I arrive home from work to find a note on the doorstep "money is due, will call back next working day" (usual when ordering trans-Atlantic from the states) . Or even worse, "Your parcel can be picked up from the nearest depot" - 100 miles away !!!
Or EVEN worse, one time I was home when a new Spydie arrived, money was due so I pulled out a note bigger than what was due, "Right change or no parcel" says the delivery man. Would he wait for me to run to the shops to get change ?, would he chuff !!

The "big brown truck" is my favorite also. I try to purchase via the internet to save state sales tax and look for a better price.
My wife says, "the UPS fairy has been here again" and asks "when are you going to stop buying so many things?" I just smile and try to change the subject.

:-( :

Just don't put the "-" in between the parenthese and the colon!

To All,

Tomorrow's my UPS day (Friday) have a Dyad, G-10 Harpy, CF Civie, and G-10 Military coming. I just wish it would be Dale Jarret driving the truck!! (big Nascar fan) Also just bought Beretta 96FS from P/P, have to wait 10 days for that one. Don't know which I'm more anxious for!!

OK-The subliminal ARROW in the FedEx logo is shown in the image below. I have highlighted the arrow in green to make it so obvious you'll be sure to grin. It has been there all along. It is between the "E" and the "X" in "EX".

I think it symbolizes "moving to the right to keep schedule", "Fast as a arrow" , "Arrow in flight" "Speed/moving". It really ruins you to know it is there, especially when viewing the logo larger than life on one of the big trucks. That's all I see now. Can't get past it.

Whom ever designed that logo!-I mean, they should get an award. So sublime, aye?

Ok, Sharp1,

You've got me there. Didn't even notice it. Thanks for "pointing" that out.

So, you gonna bid on that Spyderco Klotzli Walker Carbon Fiber C22P S/N? I mean, the Buy It Now price is *only* $340.00! Sheesh!?

Lsaulog,
That walker is too rich for my blood. I am not particularly attracted to some spydies, and that is one. MAybe if I held one, I'd get the fever..Very probable. For that price, I could round-up a dozen or two discontinued clip-its.

For example; I found a Baby Goddard at the store that had the HK Q-Knife. What a nifty little blade(PS Too).

Hmmmm... it's been just over 3 weeks now to get my 4 day delivey package.

It should be on it's way from Oregon now... yah, my strictly Canadian shipment was in Oregon.

So, the 2 times I've phoned fedex, they never got back to me, and it's kinda bugging me. Yah, so I'm phoning to talk to a manger on monday to straighten this out... So, I still don't know the wonderful sound

I got my delivery today!!! Totally Bitchen Dudes and Dudettes. I timed it so when I came to work I wouldn't have to wait long. I got a C/F Civie P/E #485, Dyad, Military P/E, and a G-10 Harpy! I guess I went a little "overboard". Love them all!! The Civie is nice, but worried of legality to make it an EDC. Anyone want to educate me on this? Was told it's sort of "grey" area. Won't be buying any for at least a month! Have to get back to my new Spydies!
