Everything....

I just popped for another Centofante. I had passed up looking at this item on ebay for a couple days. It just said "used Centofante" and had a minimum of $45. Good price butt I already have 6 Centofantes(I know, I know)

So cruising ebay again this morning I saw he had lowered the minimum to $35 so I looked into it. His picture was way too dark, butt the decription said it was the older aluminum model and in perfect condition, so I copied the pic to my viewer and lightened and saturated the colors a bit. (see below)

Well lo and behold, it was a blue model. No mention of blue in the description at all. I immediately exercised the "Buy it Now" option at $50. I'm pretty sure if he would have included the blue word in his title and description it would not be on its way here now.

Come on UPS hurry up!!!

Nice score, Chinook!

I walked away with a slightly used Terzuola Starmate for $68 on eBay. It was advertised as NIB but once I received it, there were minor stains on the G10 handle and discoloration on the blade. Looked like it was carried for a little while. The guy wound up refunding me 15% of the cost as a good will gesture.

It's still sharp as heck though. Wasn't re-sharpened or anything. Funny, no one else bidded on it except for me. Hmm, luck, I guess.

Chinook,

Just think what you've missed out on. You could have told me and scored a kangaroo's scrotum . Not to worry, I have a new one on the way from Milarm .

BTW congratulations.

Chinook, you *******, I was just waiting that one myself, again you snipe me!

I couldn't justify buying it since I just bought an Umfaan off Ebay on Monday for $200.

Clay...
I saw you had scored yours and I thought you only wanted a PE otherwise I'd jump on that scrotum. (so to speak)

Chinook,

You're quite right, I only wanted a plain edge. I didn't notice yours was part serrated until after I'd made my post and I did indeed have mine ordered already. However none of that is going to stop me giving you a hard time, after all I am an Aussie and it's what we do best. Anyway you were the one who posted that picture of me as the Tinman .

Don't hold back on my account Clay. I think we're coming out about even so far.
