I've been using the search function a lot trying to find out a little more about how durable/long lasting the compression lock is on the Lil Temperance (yes, discontinued, but I found one at a little shop!).

The reason I ask, is that the compression lock seems to be kind of a "reverse" liner lock, and I've had terrible luck with my liner locks wearing out. Anyone here have thousands and thousands of openings and closings on their Lil Temp? I've got a Manix on the way, but find myself drawn to the Lil Temperance as well.

I know that opinions are very high regarding this knife - I have been reading a lot of old threads - but wanted to see how that lock has been holding up for you guys.

With regards to the comp lock in comparison to a liner lock, check out this thread. Just read the first page and check out David Lowry's pic.
