Nice AFO. Is it yours?
Good choice for an auto.
Yes, I received this as a gift a couple of days ago:) :) .

ront -
Unbeknownest to many in the auto knife community, the AFO was
actually tested by DARPA and, although non-regulation is availible
as an option for carry. Les De Asis didn't believe it would catch on like it
did, but the AFO was / is seeing use overseas.
Whoever gave you that as a gift is a man after my own heart! ( I tend
to give Spydies as gifts though ).
Check out the February issue of Knives Illustrated for an article
about auto knives use by the military & police. Well worth the $3.99
cover price!

The pocket clip caught my attention more than anything else - the clip on mine is unstamped. (?)

Personally I think the AFO (Armed Forces Only) is the best Auto out there right now. It's tough as nails too.

Actually, I see these quite a bit. They are pretty inexpensive, as far as quality autos go, and are one of the more popular autos carried by law enforcement officers. I never particularly cared for this model, but I don't care for autos in general, so an auto usually has to be really unusual for me to look at it twice. I am glad you like your knife. These are pretty robust autos and it should serve you well.
