View Full Version : Q about Walker Carbon Fiber blade steel

Spyderco - I have 2 Spyderco Carbon Fiber Knives. Both are in unused condition (they look like it also.) The blades on them are so dull that they won't cut butter. I want to carry one. Were they shipped like that???

Will they hold an edge (yes, i know it will mess up the collectibility - that is why I purchased two.) rr

I have owned three knives manufactured by Klotzli in Switzerland (which is where this knife was manufactured).

"Factory dull" seems to be their policy. The steel is ATS-34 (so marked on the blade) and should take a very sharp edge.
