Should I get the spydercard or save up for something bigger?
In the land of knives, Spyderco is king.

Well, do mean a blade length of longer than 2.5 inches? That depends upon your needs/wants.
If I wanted a Spyderco knife with a blade length of 2.5 inches (such as that of the Spydercard), I would only get the Spydercard if the "credit card" format is something that seems very important. I would never use it as a primary knife. I liked it primarily for the "cool" factor. Comfort and utility are another issue altogether.
Save up a little more money and get a FRN Delica or Calypso Jr. Lightweight.

I got a serrated Spydercard, and I LOVE it.
As Scolby mentioned, it probably won't be your EDC, but it is one heck of a knife.
If you can afford it, go for it!

I keep one as a concealed backup that I carry everywhere in which it is legal for me to do so. It is very sharp. I really like the blade design as it lends itself to both slashing in defense and whatever utility cutting you need it to do.
