The Caly3 is beautiful in its simplicity. Everything about that knife just works. :D


Gah! Eveything I see is pulling me towards a Captain! :rolleyes:

I was thinking just the other day about how the Captain seemed like it could be a replacement, of sorts, for the Manix, as a heavy-duty folder. I have a Manix that should be here any day, and I may order a Captain soon, so I'll be able to compare them. Just a thought I had...

If the Captain had a comp. lock, I would definitely say so. I'm just not 100% sure about liner locks in general, even though Spyderco's liner locks are among the best.

That Captain is so neat. The weirdness of the knife draws me to it. I feel it's like a tanto and a hawkbill all in one.
