I just saw some spydies on ebay that were in bubble packs. Is this the way they are going to be?
If so I am sorry but I don't like it IMO they make what ever product that is in them look cheap.
How about a black box with brite silver letters?

my police came in the normal white box wrapped in bubble wrap, my harpy came in a little black box and all the others (bar the necklace <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>) came in white boxes

The packaging is called a "clam pack". I think all of the Spydies can be packaged this way to lower the cost for dealers & help with display options. But they can all be packaged in the boxes also. It just depends on what the dealer orders. When we order we always get the boxes. I agree, the clam pack looks kinda cheap, but I guess it is. Hope this helps.

Knife dealers can purchase most Spyderco models in boxes or clampacks. Stores that display their stock outside of a locked display case often will opt for clampacks to keep the knives from 'sprouting legs and walking away'.
In 2002 we'll be updating packaging. Slider boxes and clampacks will have a new color scheme and updated look.
J. Smith you a mind reader or what? New image is a black box with metallic looking bug and graphics.
