Hello,



I recently purchased my first Spyde - a Stainless Steal Dragonfly. I was wondering if anybody knows how the handle is held together. I noticed that many other Spyderco knives have screws. The Stainless Steal Dragonfly only has screws on the clip



Are screws better? I am looking into getting a Chinese Folder.

Welcome to the forums.

I believe some people would tell you they prefer screws and some people will say rivots. The Spyderco Wegner was rivoted together. Mr. Glesser said that makes for a stronger knife. I believe him. All screw construction would make it able to be taken apart, but there is usually no need for this anyway. I really wouldn't say that screws are better. It is really personal preference.
