how did they die?? sorry i have just finished reading 2 books on the hells angels so that sentence just popped right out at me.

Given the Times Union's general biases, I think if there had been anything the least bit suspicious about that death, I'm sure they've have mentioned it right after the DA's statement. Not to mention that calling any case that hinges on the credibility of a single person's testimony over that of several others "strong" is kind of a stretch, but expected behavior for a DA.
