I was so ready to ream out Customs but when I got home the ticket was in my mailbox so it's ready for pickup after 1700. I'm glad I'll have the weekend to play around with it

:spyder: Okay so my Spydie got here last night and I think it's great. It's light and compact. It's sharp as a light saber, easy to open and the handle feels great in my hand. One complaint I have is closing it is hard seeing how light it is, I cut my hand closing it but once you get the handle on it you do fine. So yeah I've been bitten by the spyder! It's great for cutting cardboard and opening mail. I wouldn't use it for heavy duty work like cutting branches or massive rope. But overall it is great. I can see myself ordering the Caly3 with wave next.
Thanks for everyones help in choosing my first spyderco.:spyder:

Welcome to the forum! By the way, your Delica wouldn't be too happy if you had some massive rope to cut, but used something else! :p :D

By the way, there is no (official) such thing as a Waved Caly-- yet, at least.

Okay then I called it the wrong thing. **grabs :spyder: catalog**
My mistake C103 P'kal. WHOA I was way off :p I do like the C113CF Caly3 Carbon fiber.

It's true, and they are both excellent all around use knives. I love my Delica 4 - both FRN and stainless.
