I replied to your earlier question about Spydie's vs. PS2 vs. Xbox, and I'm curious,
are you desperate to get an Xbox now, or could you wait until you see them in pawn shops, because I personally, would get the knife, Xbox right now has problems and still costs $300.00, the Spydie quite a bit less and more useful. But that's just me, I'm 19 and have pretty much gotten out of the video game craze, but if you really want a game system, go with PS2, if you can hold out for lower prices on either system, get the Spydie. That is my humble opinion on your dilemma.
