S30V Question

I'm looking at the blade of my yojimbo right now and I just wonder is the CPMS30V a folded steel. I'm just looking at the spine as it tappers down to the point.

S30V is a particle steel made by Crucible - you can read about the process here:

It's a great steel that was developed specifically for knives.
