Well, I can't be accused of mentioning this too soon.

Spyderco has produced a "Sprint" run of a special Native. (Actually our GM, Jeff wanted to make them.

The Native model has black G10 scales.

Tip up, right hand only (sorry lefties)

CPM-440V

500 Plain edge pieces with a G10 shell inlay.

numbered 1 of 500, 2 of 500, etc.

500 Serrated edge pieces with a DIFFERENT G10 shell inlay.

Also individually numbered.

They will be available in about a week, from your normal dealer or from SFO.

This is a one shot "Sprint" run.

Spyderco Collector Club will have first option on their numbers for this variation.

Sorry, I don't know the price.

Sal,
How did you know my birthday was coming up? You know the next question, "any pics?"

My birthday is in two weeks. I guess I'll be needing the phone # for SFO.

I'd better ask Zen to get some numbered then.

Sal, you posted:

Q. Fully Serrated or the 50/50 standard for this model?

Sal - This feels sooo good! Drove a grown man like me to tears with them # numbers and G-10 scales! I'm too happy beyond words! *sniff*, *sob!* <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> Does the SFO handle foreign orders?

They certainly do handle foreign orders at SFO - I've just received a couple Matriarchs I ordered from them, and I couldn't be happier. Angela and the rest of the crew are a class act.

WTF. We'll be using our regular serated version, more like a 30/70.

Brian. I'm planning to have a few.
