View Full Version : G10 Delica and Jigged bone Kopa
I have just ordered the new G10 flat ground Delica and the new jigged bone Kopa. I would welcome any comments on anyone that already have one of these new knives. And is the Delica flat ground comparable to like the Caly3? I not sure why but every time I see a new Spyderco I must buy it.

Most of my comments involve me hating you becauase you got a G-10 Delican and I didn't. :p About the flat grind compared to the Caly III, I want to say that the blade will be thicker at the spine, but I'm really not sure. Do you have a Caly to compare it with?

I dunno, factory Caly's spine is 3mm thick, non-G10 Delica's spine is 2.5mm thick. Therefore I highly doubt the G10 model will be thicker than Caly
Hello SoCal Operator and LowTec. Yes I do. I have the Caly3 in G10 and Carbon fiber. I like the Carbon fiber ZDP189 blade profile better than the G10 Caly. I should have the Delica and Kopa here by Thursday and will let you know what I think. I like the thinner edge on my knives and Spyderco does a good job on that some better than others. I realize there is a trade off of thin or thick edges as the thin edge can be more fragile but thin cuts so well. I love the edges on my FRN Dragonfly and my etched Dragonfly. Truth be the Dragonfly can handle just about whatever I need.
