Does anyone know for sure what the number on the blade of the regular production Native FRN is? At first I had heard that it was the serial number, now I've heard it's a collector's number, I just don't know.

Also, Sharp1, have you gotten your Native ss serrated yet?

It depends on what number you are refering to. If it is CPM440v or GIN-1, this is refering to the blade steel. If there is another number on it, it may be a collector, but I would need more info.

The type of steel it has is GIN-1, silver stainless clip, with the number, 151, but, a friend of mine has the same knife, and the number on his is 152, I'm not sure what kind of steel he has for his.

151 and 152 are most likely consecutive collectors numbers. Hope this helps ya out.

Ahh, now the mystery becomes clearer, hey, any jobs up there? Just kidding, but if there are...

Hi Brian,
I did get the Blue Native Plain edged Forum knife, so I have all of the Natives EXCEPT the SS serrated. I don't have plans to get one soon, so my complete collection image will have to wait for a bit-but perhaps I can borrow one soon. Thanks for asking,
Sharp1
