D2 Bladesteel Shavepower.

I was trying a little shavingsharp edge retention experiment and shaved a patch of hair off my leg,to test my my KA BAR D2 folding hunter.
I applied some shaving gel and the D2 blade sheared loads of hair off my leg,smooth as butter.
then on another part of my calve i used the same shaving gel,but a Coldsteel with AUS 8 bladesteel,and only small amounts of hair were shaved off.
Both blades,D2 and AUS8 have the same factory sharp edge,but i could feel how the harder bladesteel on the D2,just had that extra sharpness,edge retention,giving a smoother shave,no snagging of the blade.
i am quite impressed.

O yeah have to add that the experiment conducted was a BRAINIAC experiment,to prove,the edge retention on different steels.
No animals were harmed in the process.
NO bikini areas were harmed in the process.
To be safer from now on,i will conduct these tests on the ol'forearm hair shave test method.
