Righty, Lefty, Ambi, Spydie...??

With all this talk about handedness and knives, I thought I'd conduct a little poll...handedness is one of those subjects that always has--and continues to--fascinate...

So which are you?

I am a righty who is somewhat ambidextrous...I write Right, throw frisbee left, use the mouse left, do a lot of things left...people who don't know I write right handed are always saying to me..."oh, you're a southpaw?" Lordy, Lordy!! :D

I am a righty normally, but all the horseback riding and stained glass work make me functionally ambidextrous in some cases.

great thread :) I'm normally righty but endeavor to be ambidextrous with certain things like flipping balisongs/baliYO :cool: 's or when paddling.... i throw a baseball lefty "like a girl" though ;) :D

Another righty with a bit of ambi, mostly simple tasks where my right hand is occupied with something.

I'm a right but have some natural dexterity in my left I rarely use. I can write passably with my left for example if I pay attention to what I'm doing. I couldn't draw with my left though. I also often open and close knives left handed and oddly fight most right handed liner/frame locks easier to operate with my left hand.

I had a friend in highschool that was truly ambidextrous and an artist. He used to draw with both hands at the same time, was a sight to see.

AMBI...Big Time :p :cool:!!! Everything I do left, I can do right. I like messing with people when I'm writing. I wait to see when they're watching me write and they look away for a second and I switch hands and continue writing with the other :D . I do the samething with range qualifications. I use to annoy my previous Firearms Instructor. Of course when I'm On-Duty, I do carry my pistol on my left side.

Write, eat, throw, bat, shoot with either hand. Believe me being ambidextrous comes in handy sometimes and does have it's advantages ;) . Cool Thread Knifesis. Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

I'm a righty, but having my right thumb broken last Fall forced me to adapt; I can now do quite a few things relatively ambi (never did get the hang of writing with my left, though :rolleyes: ).

pure righty. Right eye dominant too. My son is true ambidexterous strangely enough. His mother was a left handed red head from ireland. He got her temper, and my mule stubborness too.

Natural left, school forced me to use my right hand... was doing great using either hand for anything until I fubar'd my left wrist. Still can't write legibly left handed.
prefer left handed equipment and will get left handed stuff when I can, but I just grab whatever is closest with whichever hand is closest.

gotta love being ambi....
