Rico,
he was actually Aries59, then tried to post a thread about proto Spydie for sale on e-bay as Bowie59. Everyone caught on rather quickly and shamed him for that! He said he decided to keep the knife afterall, I guess he changed his mind again! Most of us would kill to have a knife like that! I guess he can do what he wants with it. If I won a knife like that I would be real proud to own-carry-show it off! I know how you feel, if he didn't want it he should have never entered the contest!
Hd - First congrats on 100th post. Second I agree, very nice knife. I personally only enter into contests where I have a real use or want for the prize...rr

Krazie- I will now VERY politly ask that you edit your post for language.
just because someone decides to change their mind about this knife is NO excuse for that. And it is this guys decision to make, like it or not.

I think people can do whatever he thinks fit to his own property. No need to act like this... people may think you are just jealous.
Well, guys, I agree with golem. I would also love to have a knife like that but, the fact is that this guy won it, and now it's his property so he can do whatever he wants with it. It may be of bad taste to some of us, but that does not make a difference as to what he can do or not do with it.
Finally, Krazie, you can stop your "cool act" now. We all know how to swear, but most of us try to keep this forum "viewable" for anyone out there. If you think it makes you look "cool" or "grownup" or whatever, you are wrong. Many of us here have asked you nicely to tone it down, learn to listen to good advice.

KK, I have to agree w/Kahz, I try not to swear at all on the forum, but, when it is appropriate, I'll get my point made my way, but not on any chance I can get to look good.
I'll usually do something like this: #@*?!
Give that a try instead of being quite so crass.
"I've never felt so good being so sick."

Rico,
Thank you very much, I can't wait to go into Quadruple digits <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>! It has been quite an experience <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I owned seven Spydies before I got "into" the forum, I just recently bought 9 more!
Have a Blue Lum Chinese and H&K "Q" on the way!
Went shooting tonight (my new Beretta 96 Centurian) and at the range bought a 204 Sharpmaker for 45.00! Can't wait to sharpen all my Spydies... Will try out on old knives first!

BTW... Did you ever get that scratch out of the scales on your CF Cricket?
