Well, I surely did!

Its the essential reference to anyone who'd stake the claim that he or she is a certified Spydernut! I find the book thorough and informative. There are lots of interesting facts and anecdotes about each model from Spyderco's stable which came into production. The book helped me a lot in understanding Spyderco's philosophy in making good and affordable knives for the mass! Well, anyone care to forward their input? Your contributions are certainly welcomed!

I can't even find this book, and I've been looking at every bookstore, library, sporting goods shop, knife shop, and chicken coup in town for the better part of a month, is it only available through Spyderco?

I actually acquired a lot of my Spyderco knowledge from the Spyderco Story. Working at the outlet, you need to be knowledgable about past products because there are a lot of "knife nuts" that come in to pick your brain. 1 day with this book and I can talk Spyderco with the best of them. Great book, great reading.

Samo,

Hmmm... Thanks for posting this. I now pushed the book up to #1 in my list since I want to know the ideas behind such cool knives and the company, before I get more blades (my CF Dragonfly is now on the way, as well, so I know I will be entertained for a while ).

Brian, It's available in Amazon for 49 bux, btw. Once I order it and read it, I will let you all know my opinion.

The book is great lots of information to keep you thinking. There is one major drawback, I WANT MORE KNIVES. RIco rossi

Next to the Bible, I would say it ranks a close #2....
A wonderful insight on how Spyderco first originated, and the unique business philosophy that has brought it to the place of recognition that it holds today.
If you don't have this book, get it! It is worth the $$$.
Great post idea, Samo!

Hey Kahz,
Get the book girl! I found it very inspirational! Here in Malaysia, I had to pay four times as much to get my hands on this book, but it was well worth every dollar and cent!

Samo,

Yes, that is definitely my next purchase, even if it means waiting longer for a blade. I will get it at the end of January, when my account rests a bit after the holidaze. Thanks for your wise words!

Chinook, I admire your sense of humor!
