Our knife laws are about to change! Though not as bad as NYC but it is up for notice and public comment. Please let our democracy work and speak your voice and let the government know what you think.

Hi ManixWorld
It is a pdf format document so one will need adobe reader to open it that you can easily download.
As far as I can tell these are the type of knifes not allowed to be carried any more.
Flick knife;
Dagger;
Knuckle knife;
Trench knife;
Throwing blade;
Non-metal or ceramic knife;
Tonfa;
Throwing star;
Any knife other than knifes mentioned above, the blade of which
exceeds 10 centimetres
This is only a draft and has not been passed yet. But I emailed our knife makers guild and they are working on it. The act does however not only focus on knifes but also things such as paint ball guns to be issued illegal unless for a sporting event.

Sofar it seems more like the weaponry 'mallninjas'would use,not the stuff i would carry,unless i was practicing tac-ti-ninjit,which would scare a bear.

You sound like you're going our way.:(
BTW, can't carry, but will they still be legal to possess?
A rather badly crafted document , please defne for me what constitutes a flick knife , or a trench knife , or a dagger for that matter .

That is what I am wondering. Luckily this is only an notice and I hope it will not be passed. The document is definably not one of the best ever written.
Manixworld.
I agree that it will not influence our regular edc, but I think in my own opinion that this, if passed would have a negative effect on our knife makers, which export a lot of their products and might not be able to do that anymore.
I don't know but this document just plain sucks in its confusion.

Probably deliberate ambiguity so that any authority figure who takes a dislike to someone can find a reason to arrest them.

Dude,thats just another thing in our beautiful country thats being implemented by idiots that have nothing to do/work,but getting paid vast sums of money every month,and wondering how they can fill out there day.shame..
I dont wanna sound negative,but like with everything GOOD, thats getting FLUSHED down the toilet in our beloved country,this is just another drop in the bucket of chaos and idiocy,that politicians are filling up in record time.
bro,i will carry my knives with pride,because these blokes implementing their laws,haven't got a clue what the words pride,honor,respect and honesty means.
how long still,before we ALL get tired of the bulls&@t.-peace bro.
