Do you have any bad Spyder bites? I don't, but I did slice open my finger really bad with a scout knife. Spydies are so sharp that they will slice through your skin on contact. They don't start bleeding till you flex the wound, then the blood starts pouring.
In the land of knives, Spyderco is king.

No bad ones, but lots of little ones. Over Christmas I cut my thumb (my opening one no less...I hate this) w/ my plain edged Police, dropped my Delica point-down into my thigh while examining it, and my poor wife gave herself a line of Spydie bites across the palm of her hand with the serrated edge of my new Delica while opening a Christmas gift for one of the kids. I said "Oh yeah...those are Spydie bites" as I looked over. She said "You know, they LOOK like actual spider bites...see they're all in a line. Interesting!"
A good sport, my wife.

Spyderbites?? Kinda goes with our obsession. If you
play with knives long enough they bite.

Ah, nothing bites like a Spyder!
Although I have never had a really 'bad' cut with a Spyderco, I have had the minor 'Spydie Bites' that come with playing with a knife too much. My SE Cricket is a sweet knife to play with, but I have learned that you DON'T stick your fingers in its mouth! I was playing with it on Christmas day when I accidently sliced a few knuckles open with it. The funny thing is, my cousin had just asked me if I had ever cut myself with it. I called it a 'live demo'.
It is my firm belief that once bitten by a Spyderco, you will get the 'Spydie Virus' and face the rest of your days trying to get your hands on any Spyderco you can. :-)
I LOVE that virus.......

I got a light cut on my finger with my new Q about two years ago, I was trying to close it one handed. Nothing deep, just a stupid move on my part
Now that you mention about the Spydie virus...
Maybe Sal coats the blades on the Spydies with something to infect us so we buy more Spydies... kind of like a subliminal thing!
It's like the cigerette companies that put nicotene into the cigerettes to addict people!
I'm going to take my Spydies to the Lab... I'll get back to you guys on want I find

Kinda funny. They do indeed seem to have a mind of their own at times. I have been bitten by every spydie I own. Nothing bad though. It must be how the spydie virus is transmitted.

Cuts...we all get 'em, we all keep playing!
While some people view knives as unsafe due to cuts, I just believe that cuts are part of the game.
That, and you can catch a pretty nice case of SpyderFever!
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

I've "bitten" myself twice, the first time I didn't have my index finger high enough up the handle and closed it on myself w/the serrations leaving three little, but deep holes in my knuckle, the second time, it was open on my desk while opening mail, I brushed it with my little finger and sliced down to the tip of my finger nail, all this in the space of an hour after I picked up the knife.

I was playing with my "Q" last night and I didn't even notice that I had put 2 slices on my wrist and my palm 'till this morning. Since its SE, it left the little 'spyderbites' that are so common on Spyderco-carrying people. I love that knife. :-) Boy do cuts hurt!
