I love the Poliwog. I EDC'ed it for a while & it now has that 'worn & used' look to it. I hope to pick up another one before it goes the way of the Dodo.

I got one for my brother. But of course I had to pull it out of the box to fondle it. :)
I like it alot. But Im not that big of a fan of bare stainless. If their was a black coated one, that would be great.

Whoa, when was that pic taken (blk poli?) That's pretty cool It was taken at the 2006 Amsterdam Meet. A black coated Adventura was shown as well. Both look great but there's a good chance that they will never become part of the Spyderco lineup. Sales of the Poli & Adventura would have to be pretty good to warrant coated variations. Also, I seem to recall reading that the black coating was prohibitively expensive for production.

I would love to see a G-10 Poliwog.... just like I would love to see a G-10 Lava!!!!!!

..... maybe possibly in Orange G-10???... or maybe the return of the "toy" blue G-10 like on the Yo and Dodo?
