Sal, one more question about the VG-10 lum tanto folder

Sal, will there be any difference on the blade shape between the new VG-10 tanto folder and the old ti-handled one? If not, can I simply exchange the blades of them to make a Ti-handled VG-10 blade tanto?

Hi Golem. Blade shape will be the same, but changing our blades is often more diffucult that imagined because of minor differences from run to run and "tweaking" that occurs in assembly.

golem, I was thinking the same thing and I guess we got our answer. I'm still wondering if there are any remaining ti handles at the factory (maybe they could use up this stock for those of us who still prefer them with the VG-10 blade). Would the factory have the same problem installing the new blade into the "old" handle?
