2001 Delica and Endura...when will they be out?

Just took a look at the new Spyderco web page and see they have made some minor changes to the Delica and Endura.

Was wondering when these new models will show up in stores and online?



Thinking about a new Delica or Endura. Also help me make up my mind of which one to get!

Was thinking the Delica but now thinking that the Endura isn't that much bigger so maybe I should get it instead. Lets hear your thoughts.

Hi G35. The refinements that we make on designs usually go into effect when the inventory of the most recent version is gone. They'll begin to trickle into the distribution system sometime between now and the beginning of the year.

With so many models and so many minor refinements, it's not possible for a small company like ours to do "everything" at once based on a calendar.

What refinements are to be made on the Endura and Delica?

Fewer teeth at the tip to strengthen the tip on serrated versions and a David Boye style locking lever to reduce the possibility of accidental unlocking.

Don't forget the reinforcement on the handle to better secure the clip. I already got a 2001 Delica from Eastern Mountain Sports and it's AWESOME!
