I just got a new 204 and I am extremely impressed! The lansky could sharpen most knives, but I firmly believe the 204 could sharpen a tennis ball!
Once that got my Ka-Bar sharp, I was truly amazed. Anybody else have any opinions? Any little tricks or tips are welcome!
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Once your knife is done on the white stones use very light strokes on the flats of the white stones. It will help polish the edge. You can also try using a steel, I have better results with a steel on some knies and worse results on other knives.
If it is the first time I have sharpened a knife on the 204 I just consentrate on one side using the edge of the brown ceramic until I have a burr, then repeat on the other side. This way I know I have set a proper edge. After that, and for every preceeding sharpen I use the recomended alternate strokes.
Another thing to watch out for, being the awkard sod I am I have found that I make stronger strokes with the right stroke than I do on the left hand side. If you find a very fine burr forming just give it a couple more strokes on the week side.
I've not heard of anyone else needing to do this, so I can only conclude it is me being awkard
