Dear Sal ;

I hate to bother you with this, but I recently tried switching

the clip to "tip down" carry on my C 66

"Vesuvius" and couldn't get the damn

screws to turn ( short of stripping them )!

Could your people in Warranty and Repair

possibly replace the screws and reset

the clip for "tip down" carry ?

I've had the same problem with my rookie.

In the land of knives, Spyderco is king.

I think the screws have had a threadlock solvent applied to stop them coming loose.
