How stupid can one be?:(

As you may have noticed my mobile pics were getting worse.

I was very annoyed by this and decided to make a make shift light box from an old shoe box today. Didn't help because the pics remained blurry and grainy:confused:

Untill I got the luminous idea:rolleyes: to check the lens of my mobile phone camera.

And you'll gess it, all covered in dust:o

Took a Q tip, and cleaned the darn thing.

And what do you know??

A clean lens really helps.

Arend,

Q tips cotton can give tiny scratches. Better in future take a micro-fibre cloth (1 euro at Action a piece) and some mild cleaner like fe safeclean i use for my lcd screens.

I was wondering with my old sony erricson too about the deteriorating picture quality .. till i got smart...;)

Can of compressed air for interior of cellphones and desktops helps too...

That made a heck of a difference! Something so simple makes a world of difference. Good pics, even the one with the dirty lens looks better than the pics I take.
