I have read alot about them here and on their web page but now that I have one and have played with it (and it isnt even dark yet:p ) I love it. Already thinging which one I will buy next.

Hey , that's funny.. I just got the same one in the mail today also.
Mine is black though. I couldn't believe how bright that light is,looking
foward to getting some good use out of it. I am already thinking about getting some smaller ones to go in the family vehicle's glove boxes.
After playing with the fenix those old brinkmans I have in the cars
now just gotta GO!!:D :D

i've been carrying the same as my EDC... bought it to replace my much loved inova X5T. didn't realizing i'd be replacing ALL my lights with it...

the selectable brightness is incredible. i've got the AA version -- a huge money-saver!!!

i've used it out fishing, walking through tongass forest at night, and while responding to an oil spill... pretty great stuff. i love the quality!!!!!!

here's a question for you L2D owners......has anyone tried replacing the L2D's battery tube section with the battery section from a L1D, P2D or P3D?

I think it would be really handy to be able to switch between the two sizes (the battery tubes are like 12 bucks).
