Where can I find a Calypso Jr. Lightweight for under $40. I have looked at Johnfjensen.com(how do you order there?) and a couple other stores. But every store has $48 on them.

If you can afford to...Just buy one while you still can! These knives are worth twice that.

Just as Jeff says, "They are worth twice that". This knife design
is so darned good bite the bullet and buy at least one before they
are all gone. Sal offered the public a very ,very good knife design
at a killer price. Problem was the public just didn't get it. So BUY
one soon.

I just got one off an ebay store (knifesales/Sawyers cutlery) for $44 shipped. It's a great knife. My new favorite EDC.

I just ordered a Micarta Calypso Jr (along with the 203 fine stick) from johnfjensen.com. Pretty much, I sent him email saying what I wanted, and he replied telling me that I could email him my CC info, or call him. So I called him.
I think it would be nice if he set up an online ordering system, but I don't think he sells all that much through his site.

The Calypso family was a great design. I "carry" the LW when I'm expecting much use and I "wear" the micarta version, beautiful and sleek.

As mentioned above, Rookie, you should jump right in there and buy a Calypso Jr. before its too late. I gave $47.95 for mine from Shoplite.com. I got the LTW SE model. They said that it should be in tomorrow, so I am on pins and needles waiting. *Sigh*
I was sooo close to buying the micarta model, but at the last minute, I went with the lightweight. Good Luck!

John Jensen shows these on his website for $40.25. Although I have not purchased from him yet, previous posts have indicated that he is reliable.

As you can tell by my double post, I'm new at this. Oh well....I'm sure I'll get better at this.
