Hi all, TGIF...
the Boker CLB Trance has really grown on me.... the drop point blade version especially....to my eye using a ruler, the blade thickness appears to be 2.5mm thick with a full flat grind which makes it a light saber (like the foliage green G10 Delica4). After seeing TheDeacon's bubinga Subclaw from this post,
http://spyderco.com/forums/showpost.php?p=397787&postcount=14

I couldn't resist seeing what the "chatoyance" hub bub was all about
So I sent a DP Trance to potterma many months ago....and I finally got around to some pix this evening....yes, the chatoyance of the waterfall bubinga is mesmerizingly beautiful....almost 3-Dimensional -like.....which is why I like mother of pearl too...
Here's some poor lighting pix with a lignumvitae Subclaw and black Paramilitary as "special guests" on this show, beautiful job again by the House of Potterma  hope u likey :)

Beautiful wood Brian!!! Now I want a Drop Point! This little knife really grows on ya fast. I find I EDC this knife quite a bit lately. One of the nicest styles I have seen in a while. The $$ is great also!!! I think Daywalker outdid himself!

That Bubinga stuff is stunning brian.

I think outdoor picture taking or in better lighting will improve the looks of this wood. The small sensors in cameras compared to high iso settings will smear the photo's a bit. This will result in less detail.

You could try setting the camera to fixed isosettings at 400 max combined with flashuse. Might turn out better.
