Hello everyone, Ive been wantin to score some new headphones for my Ipod but dont know what I should get. Like my Spyderco, my Ipod is also on me at all times so it is important to not go half arss on this one. I really got use to the standard buds, actually grew to love them but I have had almost 5 pairs take a poo so they will no longer replace them for me :( . Ive got some cheap koss ones to hold me over but am looking for something simliar to the standard bud, maybe with better sound and bigger muscles so she dont break down on me. I listen to it loud. Ive looked at the pocket pics on here so I know lots of you also sport a pod. Please share your opinions. Thanks alot!

I have these from here:

Pretty happy overall, cord a little long and thin (tangles easy), a little heavy on the bass. Not bad for the price.

Hey Caly E, I use the V-Moda Vibe . Cost a bit, but the sound is awsome!!! Looking at your avatar ... I'd say you like your music loud like I do:D . These headphone are super tough, cable not to long and braided SS housing. I use mine all of the time when I weight train and ride practice on the track. No problems so far. These earphones also come with extra silicone buds to customize a fit you're comfortable with. Check em out www.v-moda.com ... when you go to the site, click on "collection" all the different earphones will come up.

Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

God Bless :)

Either V-Modas or Etymotics. I have Etymotic ER-6i's and they are very comfortable, light, and sound terrific. The V-Modas are the most stylish and sound great as well. They give a little more bass than my Ety's, but I like my earbuds neutrally balanced.

I have both the V-Moda Vibe and the Shure E3c. I'm not an audiophile so I couldn't say either one is better than the other. All I care about is that they stay put in my ears when on the treadmill and they rock when I want to crank it up. I don't care much for the lame glittery gold case that came with my V-Moda's though. The Shure earphones came with a cool case shaped like a hockey puck. Either way I think you will be happy.

I just tried the Tri Ports by Bose and they sound much better than the ones that came with the Ipod. They go for about $100.

I use sennheiser earbuds and have been very pleased with them.

Thanks alot for all the input guys! I did a little research on everything mentioned and Im thinkin I like the V-modas shape and the sennheiser's price. I cant really stand those ones that go deep into the ears. Most mentioned sure are salty. Im almost tempted to just say the heck with it and buy another Spyderco instead. Thanks again folks! Stay sharp!!!!
