Its very brief, but if you have a DVD player (like I do ) and you rent ( or own ) The Fast and The Furious, go to chapter 2 "Enter the Eclipse". Fast foward to the scene where Brian is sitting in Toretto's diner. When the four street racer cars pull up, pause right when Letty gets out of the pink-ish older Eclipse(?). The camera pans up her body, starting at her shoes. The shot is meant to give everyone a good look at her low-rider pants, but if you pause at the right time, you can plainly see what appears to be a stainless Delica clipped to the outside(!) of her pocket! She has it on all through the movie, but you only get glimpses of it the rest of the movie.

Ps: I did some surfing and found a pic of her wearing the knife!

Good spot.
But I have a feeling when you were slo-mo'ing on that piece, looking for knives wasn't at the top of your list

It's what we call in the graphics trade "nice eye candy".

I was checking out the movie "Gladiator" (no not that one) It was about a young guy in Chicago that takes up fighting in a "fight club"? to help out his family(I didn't watch more than a half hour) It was on Wednesday night at 9PM PST on WTBS. It was released in 1992

Anyway the bad guy pulls out what looked to me to be a Mariner(large SS serrated sheepsfoot with the vent in the handle) and waved it around at a rival bully. It seemed a strange choice. ><g>

For Joyce...

If I remember rightly the female bodyguard (baddy) threatened one of the good guys with a Rescue or Mariner in Jonny Numonic(SP?).

Always thought that was an odd choice. OK, it is an unusual shape to the layman, and serrations always look more dangerous, but it's not exactly a fighting knife.

Flinx,

Great spotting! Don't you think it might be as s/s Police model?

Jeff.

You decide Jeff.
I could have zoomed in more, butt I would have lost some important detail.

I thought about it being a Police model, Jeff. I pulled out my SS Police and the handle is pointier and does not have a lanyard hole.

To me it looks like an Endura II... the way it is riding in her pants, on a Delica the clip is near the end of the knife. On the Endura the clip sits 1/2 inch down the side.

Very nice. Now about the knife. Is that screws on the handle? Does the Spydercos mentioned have these screws?
